    Wasp_Sunk V.2

    Ok after some heplfull hints, Ive revised somethings on my map, BUT still cant get the water to look pretty on the INSIDE of the ship, it looks pretty on the outside, but alas, on the inside, there is only darkness
    Ive also got BF2 things in my map, F-15 wreck anyone

    I cant seem to be able to get any SF effects into my map, Ive been able to get stock BF ones in just fine, with out any crashes, but alas, no effects for me

    theres some awsome water effects that I want to use, help, anybody

    Your question about lightmaps, I think those screenshots prove the point about it not looking as good. No shadows and the planes are lighter than the rest of the hanger!

    Cool, still not enough cover in there though, some stacked containers or collapsed stack would be great.

    hmm, I guess the planes kinda do look out of place, so that must mean my original attempt at lightmaps must have done something, maybe if I try it again something else will happen

    Oh yeah, the battles will be great. I wish I had used this idea, the game play should be intense.

    The editor doesn't support SF yet, there is rumors of a SF editor or a patch to update the editor, including support for SF.

    the only thing Ive not been able to implement successfully is the ambient effects, and thats 1 of only 3 things left untill my map it finished

    I could finish the map tommorrow (depending on how long it takes to complie lightmaps)

    Ive finished my minimp, got it successfully working, worked out a few other things, now all thats left is adding a few more objects, lightmaps, and 2 ambient effects I would like to put on my map

    But now Im going to have to shelve my map for 2 to 3 months untill they release an "update" for the editor

    SF maps still work fine, you just dont get self-shadowing on the objects so they won't look as good as normal but it shouldnt be a problem...

    Yeah, its still playable without lightmaps and ambients. You could release a version now then a FINAL version once we have a SF supported editor.

    OK so Ive added a minimap, and successfully tested it ingame, Ive added a bunch of more objects,then I tried making the out of bounds thing, I though I was doing good, but know whenever I try and test it out ingame, it crashes at the "start" screen

    still doing testing on my CTD problem, I thought I was going somewere with it, but I wasnt, ive hit a brickwall and dont know what to do
