Artillery reload times....

Althougth there still isn't much said about decreasing it's effectiveness...It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9/NIV

Thanks, I hadn't gotten to 15 posts when I posted that and so I couldn't make a link.

Re: Artillery reload times....
I tried this a long time ago when Tactical Mod was server-side and it only half worked. The commander couldn't use an asset sooner than the time I specified, but the UI didn't reflect this. The asset would look like it was reloading at normal speed and when it appeared fully reloaded it still wouldn't be usable until the increased time had elapsed. We decided this would be too confusing so we didn't try to use it. Now that the mod is client-side, I'm going to try this again and see if the change is reflected in the UI.

Re: Artillery reload times....
*bump*
I saw a topic recently about Tac Mod stating that they wouldn't re-enable Artillery unless they could figure out how to decrease the recharge speed. So did anything ever come of this method?

As far as I know you can increase the reload time of any asset but it doesn't reflect in the commander window so the loading bars still reload at the same speed. You have to keep clicking to see if it's reloaded for real. Not that big of a deal to me but w/e.
