    And what's really pathetic...is most of these mods will probably have less bugs than the huge budget BF2 mod

    Yeah right. When one of these comes out, that post is gonna bite you in the butt. I've never played a mod that has less bugs thant he game it's based on, and I sincerely doubt these are going to be different. As much as you may irrationally hate EA and DICE, they are paying professional programmers to work on this game all day, and even the most dedicated mod team really can't match that, at least not in the first release.

    I guess those are for Forgotten Hope (BF1942 version), not for FH2 (BF 2 version).

    But in time, BF2 version may/will expand to and beyond BF1942 version. The additions (vehicles, armies, weapons and maps) were insane in previous version.

    I scanned the site and didn't see anything suggesting a possible release date target. Mods always drive me crazy like that. They keep adding content and you never know if there will ever be an actual mod to play.

    FH team is one of the most professional (refers to the way they work) mod development teams out there icky. That's why there is a huge fan base for FH.

    I guess those of you who played FH for BF1942 know what I am talking about in terms of promise and quality of the mod.

    Looks like FH2 will need at least a couple of months. Waiting is hard but it worths ...

    I've said this before and i'll say it again, in battlefield 1942 all the "official" expansions were crap and were just there to make a profit. Desert Combat and Forgotten Hope were free and where it was at for good gameplay.

    I think that will translate directly to BF2 in the sense that special forces is crap (does anyone even play this anymore?), booster packs are crap, and that the free mods like PoE, Desert Conflict, and Forgotten hope will be the real winners.
