    UAV and the Tacmod

Why is the UAV removed from the Tacmod? It is used in real life combat. If it is because it shows everyone on the team what's going on, is there a way to use the UAV but only the CO can see what it is revealing?

I just had a buddy come back from Iraq and that's what he did while he was there and it got me wondering why the UAV isn't in the Tacmod.

    Re: UAV and the Tacmod

Theres things to be said for realism, and there's things to be said for playability.

The UAV is just so GOOD at gathering information that it invalidates any attempts at stealth or flanking maneuvers nearby. Tac Mod wants to promote tactical infantry maneuvers (as I gather), among other things, and the UAV just does too much to prevent that.

I imagine the CO zoom-in camera is a better recreation of real life UAV cameras anyway.

Kerostasis is correct about why it was removed.

I don't think it's possible to change the way the UAV works.
