Am I clueless? Where's the .exe for BFP2?
I used the installer, but there's no icon on my desktop, no .exe file in the mod file, and I can't figure out how to actually start the damn thing. WTF is wrong with me? Actually, I don't need any comments on that. How about just explaining to me how to start the game?

Corporate posts one way that often works; further down I explained my solution. I'm not sure if this is the same problem, though, since I haven't DLed/tried the full new version. I know some other guys were having the same trouble and I meant to give it a go. Lemme know or find me on TS tonight.OPS, the bacon is on you.

Re: Am I clueless? Where's the .exe for BFP2?
I had the same issue so just in case someone is wondering how to create a BFP2 .exe :
Copy the bf2 shortcut from your desktop and and paste it on the desktop
Add this to the end of the target line+modPath mods/bfp2 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1
And you get something like:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/bfp2 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

"Though I Fly Through the Valley of Death, I Shall Fear No Evil. For I am at 80,000 Feet and Climbing."
