To those who would complain about the need to download a program to be unbanned:
Battlefield2 handles most bans through the use of the md5-encrypted hash of your CD-key. In the system, your ban looks like
5745588be00e1a65a334f4a71d738106, which is complete nonsense to us (as it might be to you). Therefore, if you wish to get unbanned, we require you to tell us what this hash is, and this utility is probably the easiest way.
If you're feeling technical, you can compute the hash on your own without the program (
algorithm description here). But please, make no mistake, we need this information if we're ever to clear your ban entry.
