Point taken A><is, I guess I was a bit excessive in my disdain. I guess because its the main reason why I stopped playing, it tends to piss me off easier than anything else. I will still have my issues with the sniper thing and non-squad involvement, but I will try to keep my tone civil.

On a side note, I do miss running to the Hind hopping in and laying waste to the ants below. Mmmmmmmmmm good memories.

Long May the FFTHFF(5th) live in our memories and our teamplay.

Squads aren't based on time zones. The primetime hours on the TG server are between 7pm-midnight EST and you're bound to see a lot of TG led squads form up. Keep in mind that this isn't the only game that we play!

That's kind and thoughtful of you, Alex, but unnecessary, and not generally the way we want it to go. We'll try to run with our squad-buddies once in a while, but it works better for everyone if we get the new blood mixed into the squads in-game. Anyone's welcome in my squad at any time, and I think most everyone here feels similarly. You'll learn styles you prefer, naturally, but who gotta get in it to learn... Join up anytime.

I'll just add to Khaeus' comments by saying anytime that we are determined to form IHS only squads, we usually lock them and invite SM's who we feel belong there. It's not something we try to do very often at any rate. Other than that, if you see a named squad that isn't locked, feel free to join. You'll have to be quick about it, however, as more often than not some of the named squads, like Mantis' "Learn TG" squads for instance, fill up almost immediately.

Also, what Axis said. Huzzah! +1 intertubes to the man.

I mean seriously I can't count the amount of times I have multi-killed you on say Spies where you are a sniper and I am a medic. Where you had the element of surprise and I still managed to pop you in tha head with my AK/G36K. **Quoting "kilevvri1"**

I never said I dont get killed or get off going 40-0 or 37-0. I have never went 40-0 or 37-0. If I never died the game would have no interest to me for the same reason I dont understand hackers. What fun is a game where you can completely dominate day in and day out. When a game gets to that point its time to pack it up and sell it on Ebay. Thats not what its about to me. Its about the cohesion amongst the squad your fighting with. The feeling of satisfaction when your side has won the round and your squad is given props by your fellow teammates for the work it put in to earn that victory.

I think kilevvri1 is just upset causes hes on my tracker report as my most popular victim

And for the record my feathers are not ruffuled. I am not trying to start shiot in here just want to prove my effectiveness amongst skilled players and have fun doing it.

See you guys on the battlefield.

On the west coast question, like Grease said, there have been pretty good games most nights til the wee hours. I am mountain right now, and on the weekends, I have bailed at 1AM my time while even some east coasters are still going.

If there are only 32 or less players on late, join anyways - some of my best times have been on the smaller maps.

To be honest you have to be alot more annoying than this to start stuff, but seeing as you actively track your stats to this day, well. I was only really commenting on the fact that it would be much better if, in trying to make your point, you had used teamwork skills over KDR/kill rate.

Also being a SL and just making ppl spawn off of you is great and all, but there is generally a lot more involved in being a useful SL and not just a portable spawn point. And snipers usually make the worst SL's, any knife happy TGer will confirm that i.e. GreasyMullet

As a SM following the SL's orders is paramount to overall skill levels in any particular kit. Plus there are usually a few ways you can go about a direct order in-game, so it's not like walking head on into a kill-zone, well not all the time.

Try this for a week play something other than the Wrench/Sniper/Assault and use the kit to help teammates more than killing, and see how much of a difference it impacts on you Teams overall performance. Support Kit on infantry maps are blessing that are usually overlooked.

I am just trying to be helpful more to the Server than to you really, but in doing so maybe you can get accustomed to the benefits of TEAMWORK over SCORE.

And thats my final word on the subject.

Long May the FFTHFF(5th) live in our memories and our teamplay.

I forgot to add I never snipe on Spies Like Us because the sniper rifle is not a standard weapon on this map and I dont waste time hunting for pickup kits everytime I die. And the comment about you being my favorite victim was a "joke". I saw in one of your previous posts that you stoped playing the game. Is this still true as of today?

Yes, I don't play BF2/POE/PR anymore. I mainly lead squads alot so I got a bit bored with having to constantly search for certain SM's to invite, as usually, like 75% of the time random ppl just behaved like utter (@&(<$. I am a really uptight about following rules in-game. Its what made TG the only online community I frequent so it means alot that it is not trampled. As I said before I apologize If I was rude in my previous comments its just that when you read comments here its usually about tips on using Kits/Assets better or creating tighter team/squad cohesion not on how any individual players skills are elite, well not mentioned by them anyways, usually you let someone else blow your horn for you. So to speak.

Just always remember, no matter how many great games you have, if your Squad doesn't feel like you have contributed to the team, it can get harder to play with those same ppl.

Yet you still feel the need to contribute your 2 cents worth...thats funny...I would suggest taking a more proactive approach in dealing with your issues like continuing to change things on the battlefield where it counts. Theres always going to be people that play online games that don't have the desire or the mental aptitude to contribute effectively to the squad mentality. It just so happens that the TG servers require you to join a squad or get booted...so those peeps that you, and most of us team players, have issues with jump in the first squad they see and fail to contribute because thats not their intention. Its your job as a leader to weed these lackeys out of your squad and look for capable players to replace them. From what I understand its the admins job to weed these players out of the server altogether if they don't get their act together. I dont mind these guys as much as you do...they are good target practice. But ya, if your not playing the game anymore theres really no sense for you to contribute to these types of posts. If there is a tactics forum people would appreciate your posts there im sure..but bashing active players is not needed IMO.

To catch the new readers up to speed about kil, he has just recently retired and has important life priorities (work, etc) that needs his full and focused attention. POE and the gaming life has been put on the backburner.

So does that mean that he is unwelcome/self-exiled from the place where he had fun and enjoyed the time with others? Of course not. Just because someone doesn't play the game anymore (and has played it since its inception) doesn't mean they should exile themselves from the community and not par-take in discussions such as these. It also doesn't mean that they don't know anything about POE, which is very much the opposite in kil's case. People such as Kil and others that no longer play POE still provide terrific insight and advice to players; treating their advice like it's garbage is an insult to themselves and more than likely, an insult to the people that know and understand them.

When it comes to "lackeys" not obeying SL/CO orders, they are warned/kicked if they admins are aware of it. The best way to reach an admin is via Teamspeak. Keep in mind that TG is pretty much the only popular server in POE that caters to the Tactical / Teamwork Mentality; the majority of new players are unaware of how we play and why we play that way. That is why we need to Regularlize them. If we start kicking / warning everyone about how they are not obeying the rules, then that is a failure on the people that regularly attend this server to make them aware of the SOPs on the server. The server would also be quite empty. So what is the best way of enforcing the TG culture? By setting an example on and off the game; by being an SL that has "Squad Think" and not as an ego booster; by thinking on a Tactical level as opposed to an individual level; by playing the game consisting of pieces on a chess board. The list goes on and on, but the more you think tactically, strategically, and most of all, intelligently, the more respect you will earn here at TG.
