PoE:2 News #112 - mullets next map!

Welcome back for a brief POE:2 news update. We’ve been a little quite on the newswire lately due to the normal “real life” priorities that come and go. Devil has completed his Basic Training for the U.S. Coast Guard and he’s currently being trained for his specialty. Prozac joined the German Bundeswehr and survived his initial training. Haven’t had any reports of him driving over anyone with his armored tank yet so we are pretty sure he’s doing well too! Hathcock and his wife are expecting a baby boy within the next few months as she is due in February. Jilted worked as a professional game developer over the summer on a great console game that you can find out on the Xbox 360 and [EA]Matt has been busy working in the his job too. Drunkenpirate has entered the work force once again as he was hired back into the company he used to work for and received a promotion on top of that. Situation normal for the team and they are still putting in time working on the next patch/build for PoE:2.
This week Greasy_Mullet has screenshots from the map he is working on called Raid on Kerch. It contains some new statics from Jilted. The Tall building near the water has a tunnel that enters the basement of the building and contains a flag on the interior of it. The map focusses on the American team assaulting via Blackhawks, unarmed Littlebirds, or via the rib boats. Parachutes have been disabled on this level so make sure your Heliocopter pilot lands before jumping out!

I really hope you all enjoy it. I have made many hot landing zones around the map so as a pilot you will have options. I had to do no para as well because with SL spawning, the map would be ruined either by helos going super high with engless spawns or SL on rooftops not being able to be killed.
Sometime in the next couple days, I will be putting up some more SS and a mini map for it.

The spawn kit is AP, so the only AT is a pick up kit.The rear base has a longer cap time and 2 Zu23's which (if manned) should really limit the landzones for the US. There is also 1 pick up stinger kit.
This is what we are going to try for the comming release. Of course testing with a small group verses a full server will drasticly change things. I am very open to tweaking the map in a patch based on any user feedback of it.
