    FACTS ABOUT MANTIS

    If Mantis misses you, it was because he was shooting at someone 500 yards past you and you aren't perceived as an immediate threat.

    Mantis once challenged Superman to a game of POE2 -- the loser had to wear his underwear on the outside of his pants.

    Claymores don't kill Mantis, they only serve as warning signs to alert you to his presence to make it more of a challenge for him.

    When Mantis joins an auto-balance POE2 server, the computer eventually switches everyone but him over to the German side.

    Mantis never retreats -- he just attacks in the opposite direction.

    When Mantis teabags you, some of his skill and talent are absorbed by your forehead.

    POE2 has no artillery option from the commander screen, because the commander has the ability to just place an attack marker on the map for Mantis, which pretty much yields the same result.

    Throwing smoke grenades is just Mantis' way of saying that it would have been far too easy for him to kill you with a clear line of sight.

    Spec Ops don't place C4 on vehicles that Mantis is inside, because they are afraid he will emerge from the wreckage and own them.

    Thanks for the vids. What I noticed:

    1. You have absolute control over recoil. I haven't been able to master that in BF2 & mods. Other games yes, but not here. I have it somewhat under control, enough that I should get more kills but more often than not I just don't seem to get hits, even when on single-shot & crouching/prone.

    2. You have absolute control over your mouse. This goes along with 1 above and is something that I have fought against only in BF2 & mods. When BF2 first came out I had another machine and noticed right off the bat that I had severe problems with precise mouse control. I'm now on another (now outdated) machine and it has the same problems. I tried various mice and eventually settled on an A4-Tech mouse with adjustable resolution and it has helped, but it is still a problem.

    3. You see people that I never, ever see. Simple as that. They won't be on the mini-map and you just see 'em.

    4. You're just really frickin' good

    5. Aside from all that, I'm beginning to suspect that I'm experiencing a gradual deterioration in my hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills. That's kind of scary.

    Of all the reasons given, this is the one I believe sets Mantis apart from the other top tier players. He sees stuff like 2 seconds b4 most ppl. An extreme tactical advantage, I don't know how he does it, but he does.

    I am still trying to figure out how to force 1600 x 1080 on my widescreen monitor. I put it in for BF2 through the shortcut, but I cannot figure out how to do it for POE2 shortcut. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Ok how about a staged come all Mantis-a-thon, everyone gets a shot at the title. best 2 outta 3. Now that I think about it, it's a terrible idea, better to have the mystique of his GOD-LIKE abilities preserved for prosperity.
