Random poe2 gameplay videos - post yours!
I have some videos on the harddrive worth posting but they don't deserve their own threads. So why not start a thread for random gameplay videos. A good assault...defense....funny moment...whatever. Post away and add to the thread. Here is a few for starters:
12th Armor Push - Rolling Thunder Claymores and C4 - gotta love em Kill before blind reviving!! Orel - Dingo squad usage (boo cuervo!) Ron Burgandy is down!(ramrod's attempt to bunnyhop with a tank fails miserably)

Having trouble playing your .AVI clips. What codec did you use?
[Edit] Those are quite the hydrolics mod on that tank there. But can it dance? ![]() [Edit2] Nevermind. Downloaded them directly and the played fine.

Re: Random poe2 gameplay videos - post yours!
great thread idea!! Here's some old/unseen crap I had laying around... uploaded em to youtube, so sorry for the blur.
This one time, at band camp, I ran out of bullets: (note that ^^^ was around 2am and the gameplay was pretty goofy) ramrod finds religion: I call this one RCFAR. Apparently during the first half of 2006 I had my FRAPS 'Begin Recording' hotkey mapped to something I pressed a lot. One day I went looking to clear out some room on my HD and found over 12GB of random video ![]() I put together a quick clip demonstrating an idea I had about how to effectively bomb with the F-18. I'm a terrible pilot, but you get the idea... the guided bombs can be flown just like the Tomahawk - except of course there's ZERO splash damage (think vanilla TV-missles from helos), so you gotta make a direct hit to score a kill. Although I'm switching seats in singleplayer here, the pilot in a normal game should use the same release technique - dropping the bomb when the jet's at full speed and pointed up to give it arc. Once the bomb starts dropping down, it's nearly impossible to pull up, but if it starts up, you can fly it horizontal very well: http://www.tacticalsites.com/~whiske...18_bombing.wmv ... and I guess I can bump this old job doodie put together in the Spring of 2006: Feel the Fear ![]() |

Re: Random poe2 gameplay videos - post yours!
I have various videos of me using the anti-tank/anti-personnel (AT/AP) kit laying around. I was going to make a video guide for that kit but never got around to it. I always thought it was an underused and mis-understood kit by the majority of players.
Taking out 4 out of 5 tanks by myself - An oldie but a repost for the new guys. That was a funny round since the rest of my squad was cowering in the barn. ![]() AP vs Sniper - the accuracy you can have when you really get good with the kit AP: Using the terrain - perfect example of maneuvering and using terrain in the middle of combat. This is a clip from a longer video so the text will not make sense within context. I will only say that I was gunning for icky that night and was happy when I finally caught him. ![]() AP vs Medics - another example of poor medic skills and how to take advantage of it. I know I could've kept it up for longer if I hadn't ran out of ammo because they just kept coming out of the woodwork. Also, a great example of the indirect fire nature of the AP kit. From the humor archive: Having a laugh at NorCal because I've never seen a medic miss like this *all videos in .WMV format

Reminds me of when my bro used to grow his own stash. Only they need to be a little higher. And a bit more.

Bane is insane with the AP kit, my god. Between him and Mantis and Santa on Fallen. I don't know? He almost never misses too.

Re: Random poe2 gameplay videos - post yours!
Here's a collection of my deaths and mishaps from last night's game of Dnipro Sunrise. I thought I would lead a squad in defending the Anti Air Nest. We lost it within 5 minutes and spent the rest of the round trying to take it back. After finally restoring our defensive perimeter, towards the end of the montage, I operate one of the AA guns and immediately take out one of my own team's choppers (to be fair, they were in a German chopper), and then set off one of my team's claymores on us.
