A "Contact an Admin" section?! Honestly, who is looking for such a section in this vast forums? I who was glad to find my way here.

I called out for an admin in real time when it happened - with no response.
Even if I recognize most of the 12:th's and 5:th's players it doesn't says who is an or not.

No, I don't admit that. I was pi**ed off! Not so much for the TD, but for the way he responded. The proper way would have been to chose the "I'm sorry" button in the "rose".

As a PoE-tester I've read a lot of posts in the PoE (test) Forum, concerning how good The Tactical Gamers PoE server is to play on. Yes, it might be a good team play and so on, but the TG server aren't better than the players that are on line that very moment. That's my 2 cents.

Done is done, and the next time I will use the "Contact an Admin" link to report such stuff.

Though he made his point with an inappropriate post, Magrioteli has illustrated perfectly the importance of wearing those TG tags with respect. Look: a long-time friend to TG was rightfully angered when a TG-tagged player acted like idiot in-game, and it made our buddy mad enough to post here. Think those tags don't signify anything? Think again, and get it right, before you put them on.

Anyone is welcome to wear the tags. All are required to represent the tag well.

For posting the wrong contents herein, I do apologize. I've should have contacted khaerus or someone else, instead of pointing at names.
It was never my intention to cross the forum rules, or the netiquett - I just hit the roof.

No worries Magrioteli, we all get a little hot under the collar when we see stupid rubbish in game.
I also think this needs highlighting for those new to TG so that they make sure they understand the rules before slapping on TG tags, like Khaerus said it is far from a 'get out of jail free card', it will in fact bring down a ton of bricks harder on those who offend with tags on.

Not really sure if I'm allowed to, and I in no way mean to necropost, but can I use it? I mean, I've only been playing here for about 3 days, so I'm kinda insecure on this.

1) Open this file (in notepad, e.g.):

C:\Documents and Settings\*you*\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Global.con

2) Edit the second line to look like this:

GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix "|TG|"

note: it's the pipe symbol, not the square brackets: |TG|

As long as you follow and honour our rule set and set a good example to the rest of the players on the server, you're more than welcome to represent us in game by wearing the TG tags.

I am having a problem getting the Global.con to open. It says "action is only valid for products that are installed"

I did reinstall the game awhile back and am playing on a very old account. My tags now have my old <(VZ)> clan.

I just want to show my support for this community and any help would be great.

You should be able to just open it from Notepad. I.e. start notepad first and then open the file.

worked fine for me, I just found the file, right clicked on it, hit open with notepad, then edited the line

You might have to right-click the file and go to properties. Uncheck read-only. Edit the file, save, then reset the read-only attribute.
