Re: Lock those squads
Quote:
Total whack-a-mole. It was thoroughly disappointing. It was one of a series of maps rife with self-serving players running amok, and a few well-meaning but ill-suited squads and COs. It didn't start gelling until Fallen, then it was tolerable.

Re: Lock those squads
Quote:
A "loner" pilot is simply a loner. He should be reported to the server admins to handle. Quote:
If a player isn't willing to play a support role while waiting for their turn, then they should probably move to another squad. The goal is to try and work together amongst players who are all interested in using a limited vehicle. It will never work perfect every time and we're not saying to allow a full squad of six for a two-seated limited asset. Just try to share the asset instead of always having locked squads where there is no option to share. Quote:
We simply have to figure out an effective way to share assets. Locking squads and restricting others from having a chance isn't the the way to go.

Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine, regardless of the level of advantage, if any, it gives over the opposing team." -- Tactical Gamer Primer |
