Played some more PoE tonight and Aruncado volunteered me as SL (best part is I haven't played any PC games in almost a month due to moving). He coined me the vetern BF2 player of the bunch and we had some really interesting rounds. We joined 2/3s of the way into a round on a snowy map (can't remember the name at all). Quickly it became apparrent that our team wasn't doing too well holding flags, so we started slowly pushing out hoping to huff it on foot to another flag, but met up with a good amount of resistance, but were able to survive on for about 5 more mins due to some amazing reviving. It was basically one of our revive drills thrown at us by the other team. I can't remember who it was, but someone on the other team asked us to die or something along those lines. It took a knifer rushing in and some well timed nades to finally clear us out; we survived quite awhile without losing any tickets, quite a great skirmish.

PoE rocks, apart from my armor noobishness and general lack of understanding, its a great time and I'll be on the server more and more I think.

To be fair, Guardian's played his fair share of POE. His favorite weapon (drumroll)... Anti-Materiel Rifle. Don't think the POE server has seen the 3rd only recently. I used to sport one of these as well.

I had way too much fun last night. Thanks to everyone that joined the 3rds n00b squad around 11:00pm to 1AM last night. I forgot how fun bf2 is. I never gave poe much of a shot. I will be playing this MUCH more.

Yup we showed up for a little while last night. We may still be noobs but we're getting better.

The best round was on the night map where we held the base ontop of the hill near the North side of the map. We were all complaining about how and IDS would make this so much easier because you guys just kept crawling up the hill and we didn't see you till you were right ontop of us.... stupid darkness... stupid camo that actually works... I'm not used to those things in BF2142. We always fight in broad dayling wearing bright colors! LOL! I look forward to next Tuesday guys. As always it was a pleasure.

Not sure I can wait till next tue.

Then again, considering I kept throwing down claymores near friendly flags I suspect that everyone else can wait.

I so forgot about those going off for teamates.

You guys need to get on the server earlier some nights.(Tues?) I'm always seeing ya on later when the server is starting to wind down and the regulars are thinning out somewhat. For example...show up on Fridays. You'll get a taste of the larger size maps with a nice full server.

They seem to be "spammed," but they won't go off when a friendly goes by them, and can be used to seriously channel people to chokepoints and serve as an early warning to a squad that a flag is being capped. Totally different type of weapon when they're used in 2142 vs PoE, otherwise I'd totally agree that they're, "spammed."

Oh man I really am missing not playing POE now, Singleplayer is pissing me off. Seeing Namebot mow down unsuspecting nubs and vets alike. Jumping out of my chair when someone not so gently inserts a knife in my kidney. The feeling of disbelief as a frag bounces to a halt in front of my face as I lay prone in a ditch on Fallen. /sigh

I miss the killing and it's breaking my heart that there are more people to kill and I can't be there to drop a missile salvo on unsuspecting snipers and amour alike.

I miss my friends /sigh
