Server Crashes?
Is it me that is getting disconnected or is it that the server is crashing nightly? And it always seems to happen during a great round!

Re: Server Crashes?
I've been getting disconnected lately, but its different than the server crashes I used to get. I used to get the message "There is a problem with your connection", which would persist for 10-15 secs, then get dumped to the server browser. Just like vanilla bf2 when patch 1.3 was crashing servers every 15 minutes.
Recently, though, The game pauses for less than a second and then dumps to the server browser. (both ways I get the little pop up window that says that "Connection to the server has been lost")
I was assuming that my ISP or one of the hops to the server was causing these problems. If i reconnect, i usually continue to get dumped. Anyhow, i was just wondering if others are getting dumped like me, or the old fashioned way.

Re: Server Crashes?
I frequently get dumped in between rounds.
Other than that, I blame most of my disconnects on the fact that I am on wireless.|TG-12th| Namebot

Re: Server Crashes?
I am not on wireless, and I don't have issue with other mods, thought it might be a mod specific issue.....but I guess not.

Re: Server Crashes?
Drayu, do you get the "There is a Problem with your Connection" message, or do you just get dumped to the server browser, or crash to desktop?

Re: Server Crashes?
Are you guys by any chance on Comcast Cable internet? I'm just curious. Having some issues here with them....esp. with them and their "traffic management."

dude, seriously... Santa skips your house every year doesn't he. man... nothing good to say, about anything.
Its really too bad you won't come and play on the TG servers anymore. This is a great community, and the competition on the TG server playing with TG players, is tough, and fun.
but, we do understand when '1337' players swing through town, and don't like the guidelines our server has.
good luck with your server search, better yet you might want to start your own, then you can play with the like minded folks out there. TG did that already, so it can work.Park Bench

Re: Server Crashes?
Hmm. I'll bring this back on track: "I didn't see any server crashes last night, and my ping was good."
Now I'll go back to maintaining my deficiencies.OPS, the bacon is on you.
