Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
Thanks for the time and effort you put into providing a different experience for us mantis. I am happy to say this time I played almost all of them.
We had some intense infantry battles on Risen and even Berezne. I really enjoyed the massive tank battle. Lots of action there. Not very often you get to see a sight like this:

Kudos. Was fun to see maps in a different light.

I thought Risen was great, it really opened up the map.

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
It's always great to mix it up some. It keeps the game fun! I also like the idea of nobody knowing what to do first or where to go. It kind of keeps you in suspense. I love making decisions on the fly!

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
Risen was fantastic, Mantis. Wish we could keep that one in regular rotation. Also wish we could have played that mod of Fallen you did again. Those were both superb.
Thanks for removing the lag infested alien spacecraft.

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
thanks Mantis i had a blast .. Thanks for all your hard work on getting mod nights running for us .... and for anyone else that helped you get it up and going
I am already looking forward to see what he will do next.. I like the UFO's last time. they moved slow enough for me to slaughter them lol. I know i will never miss a Mod night unless something big comes up..
great job and thanks to everyone who showed up and supported Mantis' hard work.

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
It was a blast, with Risen being one of my favorites. The squad that I joined in the 2nd half of that round (I forgot who my squad mates were already) had an intense battle between lumber mill and southern front (I think those were the names). That nighttime map with a river in the middle of it (Berezne?, can't remember map names) was pretty fun too. They were all fun actually.

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
Another big thanks to Mantis, well worth the time, and much appreciated. This has become the new "it night" not to miss. Could do without the massive tank battle myself, unless we put in a few (very few) fast movers with no guns-- but but really enjoyed the whole night.

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
i'd be down for something new, we play almost the same stuff every time that I kinda feel like the first minute of each match is pre-recorded and then the fun begins. Even then, once you hold the correct flags you can basically settle in.

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
No answers. I take it that means this won't happen again
Oh well.

Re: Modding the Mod 2 - Friday May 2nd
Ishotcha, I did take the request to heart, and checked with Mantis on the viability of this, and what it would take. Still looking into it, and we'll probably need some help.
