POE problem
Hey guys,
I can not seem to see any multiplayer servers and my internet connection is good. Is anyone else having problems?

Re: POE problem
Thats odd. I saw you playing just last night I believe. Have you changed anything since then? Any updates installed? Firewall in particular?
I have seen firewalls do this before where they block all the servers. If you alt tab out it might have given you a pop up asking if it should be blocking it. Not sure if thats the problem but I have seen it many times and it tends to happen after an AV update and in some cases out of the clear blue.

Re: POE problem
Check to make sure that you do not have any of the options checked like ranked server, etc. And change your password...

Re: POE problem
I had a weird issue also where the EA server would "reject my connection". Never had that one before. After a while it worked fine but I missed all of the action tonight.
When I occasionally get the blank server screen restarting the game usually takes care of it.

Re: POE problem
I can not seem to log in correctly to the POE server (if there such a thing). Vanila is ok? I can not see any servers. So my machine is ok (firewall etc). My settings I think are ok not 100% sure. Will keep trying to figure this out.

Re: POE problem
You may want to take all of the filters off and refresh the server list.
If and after it refreshes you can filter it down again. Have you tried connecting by IP address?

Re: POE problem
I couldn't connect to the account server last night starting around 11:00PM Eastern. Sounds like it fixed itself (after I reinstalled POE2 : (

Re: POE problem
As Mercenarie said, there was definitely a problem with the EA account server last night. I've seen this before although thankfully it doesn't happen very often. We had people experiencing this during a map change even after they had logged in and played for a while. I wasn't too unhappy to see my night end a bit early given how Khaerus, Project and others were giving me a good spanking all night. lol

Re: POE problem
This also affected the 2142 server in a more serious manner. sc1ence told me that EA has already confirmed that the problem was on their end.

Re: POE problem
that already happened a number of times before- problems with their account or stat servers. I was kicked out of my account each map change and finally couldn't connect for like couple hours. When I finally was able to connect it was way too little people.
BTW mantis really changed skins for US planes on Berezina Island??? Or I was drunk/too tired? And why there were two AM rifles at Germany side at Fallen?

Re: POE problem
Spoke to a buddy at GameSpy that I know from my old FPSCentral.com days, he says there was some hasty maintenance on 2 of the account server nodes last night that couldn't wait until the usual weekly maintenance slot. Would explain the slow/rejected account logins.
