Problems with Berlin streets

First of all, thank you everone who was involved in puting out the map pack. I only got to play a couple of rounds but G.D. it was fun. I am looking forward to many a night of the wife saying "Do you know what time it is?" Or... "Are you coming to bed yet?"

Anyways, when the Berlin streets map went to load it went to about 49% and crashed to desktop. I tried to load it about 3 or 4 times but with the same result. Any ideas?

I get the same...nice to see I'm not the only one. If anyone else does please speak up and we can try to figure out what the issue may be.

I didn't have this issue on my rig, but another rig in my house did. The 2 rigs are almost identical.

What is the GFX card you guys are running with problems?

I've got a Radeon X300 SE which works ok with the settings on low. This is the first time that this has ever happend to me.

I am asking because I know ATI has some quirks and if we can find a common thread here, it can help us pinpoint the issue.

I am crashing about half way through map load, consistently. I have an ATI Radeon 800.

8800GT no problem loading....not a great map tho

8800GT rig - no issue
8800GTS rig - 50% CTD

I've played other mods that had issues with the texture setting on low. This setting had to be set to med or else you would CTD.

I am about 90% sure the issue is that there is a bad static in the map which is causing the problem.
