What is your interest level in vanilla maps?

So to state what most players should already know, the fan map pack contained the majority of vanilla maps ported over to poe2. So these maps are available for play...you have seen a few here and there already. What amount of play would you like to see these maps have going forward? Official poe2 content and the fan made maps containing poe2 assets will always have full priority....that will never change. However if we give vanilla maps light play then what quantity would you like that 'light' to be? Rotate the vanilla maps through a couple slots in the regular rotation?(so you maybe see one a night) Load them rarely, say one or two a week? No regular play but have a vanilla night maybe once a month? Other options?

Re: What is your interest level in vanilla maps?

I personally would like to see them in the regular rotation. Most of the ones up for consideration are the best from vanilla. I think this only helps the rotation with quality maps that really do have a different feel from the rest of POE.

Same here. I would like them in the regular rotation. Even though they are the same maps, it feels a lot different to me to play them with TG'ers, due to the style of play, squads, etc. and diversity is good.

A couple rotating through prime time would be nice. As stated above, it is a new experience for me to play them with TGers. Non stop action so far.

It would be nice to have them in a regular rotation. It is a totaly different experiance on these maps when you remove the nade spammers and clay whores and actually use team work.

Every now and then. Depends on the map and the mood of the server.

I like them too. For me, Poe's AT kit makes them play totally different than vanilla.

Re: What is your interest level in vanilla maps?

Vanilla's are cool...cept i've caught myself in a flashback moment a coupla times. Whats really cool are the vanilla's that are "redux's". New textures and some new static placements. Some have had the buildings totally redone or changed. That really impressed me on those. Its like the same ol tactic you used but are forced to change it some to. One or two in the rotations seems cool to me....but I also agree it depends on the mood of the server.

Re: What is your interest level in vanilla maps?

i dont mind vanilla, but i'd rather play poe2 style versions of them. The MEC/China statics, plus desert terrain doesnt really fit this mod. If more people would like poe2 versions of vanilla maps i have no problem remaking those maps.

BF2 maps like Dalian and Daqing are tolerable because you have lots of cover for ground forces to shift around on, to be sure.

(City maps with tanks, not so much. :P Curse the frontal armor...)

My vote. I didn't get to play the Sharqi(sp?) with no air last week on my gaming night so I'm looking forward to that one for sure this week.
