Re: The server is dead all of the sudden - why?
This time of year most people break out to get over their case of cabin fever. For those of us in AZ, next month we will start staying inside more. Daylight savings time cramps me a little since I cannot usually get on the server until 11 EST. There are quite a few dedicated West coasters and we have a great time, just not high numbers all the time. Last night I thought we actually had some really great battles with lower numbers. There was a round on Fallen that turned into a real scrapfest and was very close at the end. I guess the fun is what you make of it.

Re: The server is dead all of the sudden - why?
I've been playing less lately, but I've got a couple of built-in excuses:
1. (Mostly) finished building my new rig. I'll post pics someday, but Deutch and the 71st guys have named it "R2D2," and not in a good way. Still have some kinks to work out OS-wise, but I'm mostly all good and ready to go.
2. Summertime in NYC.
And about all that other stuff: I don't put any faith in the claim that Rick has learned to kill the enemy, blue dots or no. The safest place you can find yourself on the battlefield is still surrounded by his squad, with Rick's rifle pointed at you. 5 frats and an "is no more" later, it's a guaranteed 'get out of jail free' card.
OPS, the bacon is on you.

Re: The server is dead all of the sudden - why?
My reason for playing less is busting tail for this next up coming release.

Re: The server is dead all of the sudden - why?
Can you spruce up the spawn screen for the next release so I've got something interesting to look at for 90% of my gametime please?

Re: The server is dead all of the sudden - why?
I hope an update brings back the crowds, but I have to admit, some of the recent games of less than 10 vs 10 on small maps have been a lot of fun. Sometimes those small population games can be intense.
Some new weapons and gadgets would be cool in an update.

Re: The server is dead all of the sudden - why?
I have a new Wii. I for one am glad if people are opting for outside play. It may impact the servers, but it's important that we all have a healthy balance. Last night was pretty full. Most of the 71st seemed to be missing for several days there, but the small games, like the JB4 mentioned, were fun too. I got my first Gold Star in quite a while on that map!

Well listening to you give directions thru Albuquerque wasnt no gem. "Enemy tank on the west side...Infantry moving north.." are not directions for city driving..
