So who is gonna be around this Sunday?
With a 50 hr job and freelance, I normally only get about 1.5hr Friday night and mebbe an hour during the week - so for Father's day, I will defn'ly be playing some Poh.
Hope to see others there Sunday afternoon!

Re: Calling all Fathers
I traded golfing in 110 degrees for some late afternoon/early evening POE in the cool A/C. Golden.

Ahhhhh so if I read the other thread co-reckree, the change in port may have made my Game Monitor/TG link make it look like the server was empty.
That's what I get for not having any TG'ers in Xfire.

Re: Calling all Fathers
I was on for over 4 hours... the early 4 on 4 was interesting...
I really wanted to try and jump a fast mover over an oil cistern, but... didn't happen.
lots of cap outs, and lots of round robin flag swapping... just not many people on. I played until midnight EST.
the pubbies were about average, some down with the TG style... some... snipers.
wasn't fast enough with the screen capture to show the progression of me sneaking up on one and knifing him... yeah there was just that much space between each player.Park Bench
Doing laps of Lumber Yard, waiting impatiently for another POE Scrim.

Re: Calling all Fathers
I was on from 9pm to 1am ET.
Smaller population made for whack-a-mole game play. Especially on Luki. Every couple of minutes we'd see someone fly by in a jeep going this way or that to cap an unprotected flag. Made for crazy running... helped me practice shooting the driver out of the light jeeps through the windshield.
Oil cistern drove me nuts. We tried to protect that middle flag and did a good job even with the Hind, dingos, and snipers raping us. It was just sad the one time my squad leaves the flag to try and capture another (to relieve bleed), our paltry team loses it and we get capped out.
I didn't mind the close games... I believe we lost Luki by less than 20 tickets. The blowouts, on the other hand, were just numbing and without much entertainment value.
I called it a night when we were capped out in less than 5 minutes on 16 player Woodland.

Re: Calling all Fathers
I was lucky and got on for a couple of hours. For the most part it was a good time except for the blowouts as draeh said. Good job with the sl draeh, always fun to run with some who knows what they are doing.
With smaller teams I seem to break out of my comfy med-whore role (totally for self preservation) and play more kits. With the limited players you can't rely on someone else to already be AT or special ops, etc so I try and fill in where I can. I guess its a good thing except for the teamkills with the AT mines. Sorry I got a couple of people last night.
