Wow, I didn't know there was anything wrong with your eyesight!
Good luck, don't worry about the 'small chance' they mention. That's just so they can't get sued if something does go wrong, they'll tell you there's a 'small chance' of something going wrong when they do anything!
Again, good luck!

Re: D-day tomarrow at 8:30am Texas time :(
Sorry to hear about your other possible health issues. You should get checked out and it is always better to lean to the side of caution before you get put under any anesthesia. The IV fluids were to help you stay hydrated with balanced electrolytes (probably sodium chloride and potassium) and the dextrose was to support your cellular process by providing you with some basic nourishment since you would not be eating. If your body chemistry is not right before you go into surgery you risk going into shock or other bad events while under anesthesia. I know it is frustrating since your original procedure is postponed, but you are better off taking it one step at a time toward your greater overall health. Hang in there.

You'll be good, Bark. Let them do their work, and they'll get you all prepared so you come through with flying colors. Be brave and patient, amigo.
