Operation Acorn Crash
It seems as though whenever I try to load Operation Acorn my BF2 crashes to desktop. It seems to only do this on Acorn and no other maps. I have re-installed the map packs. Any ideas?

Re: Operation Acorn Crash
The only thing I could think of would be you have the old map pack installed which should also cause an issue with Red Dawn and Berezen.

Re: Operation Acorn Crash
I'm with mullet. The new fan mappack does not contain acorn...so the fact that you think reinstalling a map pack will impact anything then you must be talking about the old pack that contained acorn. When you install that or reinstall it your overwriting the newest version of acorn which was contained in the official 2.1 release.
Just remove poe2 from your pc and reinstall version 2.1 full only.|TG-12th|mantis

Re: Operation Acorn Crash
Oh ok I thought acorn was included in map pack- my mistake. I have the new map packs and 2.1 full so ill just re-install POE I guess Berezen works fine, Red Dawn I have not tried.

Re: Operation Acorn Crash
I love Operation Acorn. It's just something about the soothing blue colors that makes my blood pressure not sky-rocket when I'm geting smoked by the other side. It doesn't get played enough.
The only thing that I remember about Red Dawn is that the curbs really sucked. Fix that and it is not a bad map.

I agree, bucky. Acorn is a neat looking map. I liked red dawn. Its just needs those sidewalks made ADA compliant.
What about the other maps that have problems... i cant remember the names now... the one with the indestructible, one way building windows. Is that map fixed in the new release?
