Errr, yes. I guess the problem is not auto reloading, it is getting the "r" button to reload without multiple hits on it. In the past it worked on one touch, since the game/server crash that started my problems, it takes multiple hits on "r" to reload. Remapped it in the settings. I already shook out all of the cracker crumbs from my key board... Maybe I wore out the "r" button.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!

Zaboo made an interesting thread in the Tech Support forum, I'm pretty sure POE and PR can get along with each other

I reinstalled POE but I still have the problem and I am thinking I may need to patch 1.41 again.
The "auto reload" seems actually to be turned off in PoE every time i load PR up. So this has to be fixed in PR i think. Bugreport?

Thanks for that. I did see that, but there are two things that terrify me; one is poisonous snakes and the other is messing with my registry. I will just have to build the courage muscle and not be a "registry noob". I agree, they certainly can get along together. I just want to get them running properly independently of each other.

I didn't know that they included a "psychedelics" kit in the new release.

Same here. I run two different accounts one for PoE and one for PR. You see me in PoE as |TG| Mr_Killer_99 [POE]. In PR I'm |TG| Mr_Fighter_99. Seems to work well like that. I would have done the mult. installs but like jb4, I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of the registry.
I ended up doing a clean install of EVERYTHING to get rid of the shaders problem. I think what Sonic posted is only for the pnkbstrB.exe Handshaking Error. I uninstalled (in this order) PR 0.8 Levels, PR 0.8 Core, PoE2.5, and then BF2 itsself. I used the Revo Uninstaller program in the most advanced mode. I had it delete everything at the end including my profiles, screenshots, and server configs. I even went and MADE SURE there was NOTHING on my machine that had ANYTHING to do with BF2. (I recommend you be extremely careful if you take my advice and uninstall BF2 using it. Don't even delete any registry items or files UNTIL you uninstall the main game last, even then careful you don't select something that says BF2142 or BF1942 on it, if you have either of those games installed) Then do a clean boot procedure do not be afraid of MSCONFIG, just do exactly what it says on that page. Then reinstall everything in REVERSE ORDER THAT YOU UNINSTALLED THEM AND AFTER REINSTALLING BF2 MAKE SURE TO PATCH IT TO 1.41 BEFORE YOU START INSTALLING THE MODS. If this doesnt work then my god your computer must be a mess because this is the most advanced method short of WIPING YOUR ENTIRE HARD DRIVE, that I can think of. Good Luck getting it to work if your having problems!

Wow, I wasn't sure if I was going to try PR 0.8, but Fighter/Killer really sold me on the easy install.
