Re: PR kills PoE2?!
Gosh I sure hope not. I can not see how it could since mods are stand alone folders just like BF2.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
It broke mine. Some settings were messed up and I even had blurry death effect crap in PoE. Reinstalling everything now.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
Doesn't seem to far fetched as FH messes with POE.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
Screw with it some even in .75. (Especially the shellshock effects.) I had to manually go in the folder and fix my shaders.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
I tried PR .8 to see some of the changes today then loaded POE2 up. I notice my auto reload at end of mag was set to off and my crosshairs were changed color wise to a white grey color; but the maps loaded fine and I didn't have any major issues on 3-4 maps I played.

Me too, 0.8 did not mess up my PoE install as far as i noticed. Both mods worked fine afterwards.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
I just installed PR, ran round a pr map for few mins to test that, then jumped on POE2 map and ran round for 1 minute and poe2 all looked normal to me

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
PR .8 is a great mod. I hope it doesn't kill POE2, but I think it will...
Or take away a lot of players from it.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
I uninstalled PR a few months ago....the shovel was weighing down my PoE....hehe
I do have an extended blurring effect. But thats when i'm getting shot up, otherwise I gonna wait until I hear more reports from you "test mice" before I reinstall mine.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
DO NOT use alt-f4 to exit out of PR. This is where 99% of your compatibility problems will come from.
If you exit out properly (hit ~ and type quit, or use the menu) then you should not have any problems. This is because it does not properly unload the shaders_client.zip when you abruptly end the program.
Also I think we may have small problem of changing the crosshair color and disabling auto reload for other mods, but its an easy change in your options. Needs more testing. If you fear PR might have problems with POE2, make 2 BF2 user accounts, one to play PR one to play POE2, I know we had to do that with FH2 cause of some of their changes.
PR has utmost respect for the other BF2 mods, and we encourage players to try them ALL out, theres no reason players should think they should ONLY play one mod or the other, these are all free content and is the amazing thing about buying computer games - so much free content years after the original game has gotten old.

Re: PR kills PoE2?!
Thanks for the info Fuzzhead. Two user accounts seem the best way to go right now to keep the reload and cross hair colors different for each mod.
