Great night tonight

Especially late night when server got down to about 10v10

Props to WhiskeySix for getting the maps rolling and keeping the server populated.

Re: Great night tonight

Yeah it was definitely a blast... stayed up WAY later than I should have - not long enough to see the sun come up like you DP (psycho), but <yawn> 2:30 was late enough. You know you're having fun when you say "one more round" FOUR times

Had an awesome time playing the *AE* guys for a few rounds - they play like seasoned TG vets, so don't hesitate for a second to join a squad lead by them

Rolled through the 16p version of a bunch of maps... don't remember the order exactly, but I remember Kharkiv, SnakeEyes, Crimea, Dnipro, Kerch, Green Acres, and Odessa.

How is it I go on leave from BF2, and suddenly all these "GG Last night" threads pop up?

Conspiracy!

Re: Great night tonight

Was an awesome evening of some vehicle / mostly close quarter combat (for the 11pm - 1am CST stint that I was present for).

Props to WhiskeySix for running a kick ass squad.

You missed out on the DrunkenPirate's squad vs. WhiskeySix's squad rivalry on Fallen... it was epic. DP refused to give up Cabins outpost to Whiskey's squad and kept slave driving us squadmembers to fight tooth and nail to get it back. Not sure if it was his pride, ego, or both (j/k, lol)... but it was a grueling forced march from one end of the map to the other. We traded control of the Cabins about six times throughout the entire game. It was something like a 16 vs. 16 on a larger map (two UCB's and three outposts).

I was doing completely improper ones - usually jumping in on Popkern's tea begs.

Re: Great night tonight

Great rounds, and I must admit that I was on the wrong of end of popkern's uncomfortably close man moments more times than I want to think about.

I also liked the in game decision to go infantry only on snake-eyes. very good choice.

I guess, since TG is an open and diverse community, that walking in on a Lipton moment affects people differently. I myself....

Hey; who fired that Gustav round into the top of the keep that kilt em all to death last night? That was memorable. did that get 5 or 6?. Must have experienced a POEbasm when all that green 'Killed text lit up.
