Yesssss! Boy that was an intensely competetive round! The 1 squad vs 1 squad round was taylor made for frontlines as there was no flag hopping by a squad knowing another squad would take the flag they passed on - which happened a lot early in the night with the multiple squads (an unfortunate flaw of the system). It was close, hand to hand combat with the score tied up until the last few seconds. The center flag, as usual, was the hottest contested, but the fact that neither side could sneak off a back flag kept it intensely heated and well fought.
We just lost at the end, and Counter, Cylon, DirtySponge... and I all sounded like we had just lost the World Series. Thanks Saitcho, Buckydent, Blood and the 3DGN CREW... who really put up a good fight - we wanted a rematch!
And yes, tired the next day too...
Saitcho raised a good point about the flag notification confusion as people were scrambing around to see which flag fell. It may take a little while for people to get used to the Frontline format, and the SL's really need to know the strategy and constantly remind everyone in their squad - I hope I didn't bark it out too much tonight.
Can we see the battlerecorder from that round? It was around 10:00pm PST - Olesko Keep; German SL: Zippy2war, I think Saitcho was the UKR SL.
