running small server
I think running fallen more often would really help us on this
i find when i am on , the only one on , early, everyone waits but when fallen comes on it is nuts
so should we have fallen more often\
i know the admins see what i see and i don't think it is just time of day
i think grow the server play the best maps now (first)

Re: running small server
I agree. I've been trying to do that on the 8-10EST weekday shift. Even Olesko front line has been a hit lately. Acorn's been fun, etc. Remember though that on 16 player, many non-infantry maps become infantry.
We could get fancy and do a poll, but what are everyone's top five maps, just for my own curiosity?

Re: running small server
I like most all the 16 maps. The ones with vehicles tend to get dominated by those vehicles. Even just the gunless jeeps play a large role because they allow you to gain a mobility advantage. Many players seem to downplay these lesser vehicles and play the map as if they weren't there which gives a savvy vehicle operator an opening to take advantage of. I am fine with playing mostly infantry only maps if that is what the majority likes. The only maps I don't particularly care for are the 16 size jet maps.

Re: running small server
If this raises the chances for the server being more seeded in euro-hours too let's go!!

Fallen, Orel, Spies, Kharkiv, Raid on Kerch in no particular order.
It's not that I enjoy infantry only maps though. I really enjoyed TG's version of vanilla Sharqi: no helis, one take for each side, and some fast movers.

Re: running small server
I've got no problem throwing an extra 'Fallen' into the mix early on, for the dedicated few who start us up every night.

Re: running small server
My favorites would look alot like Sordavies with maybe Crimea and Aces thrown in. I wonder what it is about Fallen and Spies that make them so popular? Other than their accessibility in that they are perfect for those of us with less skill in air or vehicles.

Re: running small server
Rivne 16 is one of our best inf maps IMO.

Re: running small server
I think we should add a " TG forum choice" map night in once in a while as a special event. While I do not like voting while actually playing the game (IMO a big distraction for everyone), it may work out if we do a poll in the TG forums every couple of weeks and the top 5-8 maps become the rotation for that special event night. Once a month perhaps? Hmmmmmm?

Sounds good. Always open to ideas like this. It is a community after all.
Just like at work, when someone brings an idea, I say "Sure, sounds good, take care of it" : )
