Re: Goats can fly?
well, I hopes you got some of that first world medicine out in west texas...
up here, in the third world, if ya ain't a John Deere you probably can't be saved.
the kids (and by that I mean young Goats) - "Whats fer dinner paw-Goat?"
ThaGoat - "BBQ again!"
ah the car... well I went to start it, and it made that bad wheeled APC switching gears noise, and never turned over. So I thought, great 8yrs old, 95k miles Timing belt. superb. pulled the hood release, (you know so I could stare the engine down, and jedi mind trick it into working again) hood didn't pop. GREAT!
so it started with a hood release problem, $200, then it needed an extreme tune up, $700, then instead of letting the timing belt break and slap around and break stuff, I told them to fix that now. to grand total $1,500. then... this forced me to do the work on the wifes civic (yeah we're a 2 civic household. I freaking love those cars) 4 brand new tires, state inspection, and registration. = approx $500.
all these repairs might have been cheaper, if I knew anything about cars... and if the gun turret weren't stuck too.
other problem is you go to KBB.com and those things 8 years old are still worth 25% of the original purchase price, way to valuable to set to pasture. though the honda sales guy was salivating when I was looking at a FIT brochure.
in all seriousness, best wishes to ThaGoatess, I'm stick with that name, and tell the Kids the TG crew are thinking of her.Park Bench

rough on it...
I only drive as fast as the needle lets me go.
yeah she should be ok for another 100k miles now. I should've had it tuned up before now, playing with fire, got burned... the news tonight gave some crazy $ figure for typical american debt, on top of mortgages... and now I'm just like everybody else.
