That train is a big draw especially this time of year. I have not made it up there yet since I moved back to AZ. I would guess that the South rim of the Grand Canyon is only an hour away from there. I never get tired of seeing that. Hope you have fun.

Re: Polar Express

I always thought that titled sounded like some gay pron movie.

With that said... HAVE FUN!

Also AZ gets a fair amount of snow up in the mountain areas. My wifes family lived out there for a long time and I had a buddy also from the Flagstaff area.

Re: Polar Express

Yep..It was fun! We had a great time! The train ride only lasted an hour and a half, but was still fun! My daughter was so excited to see Santa board the train and hand out bells. They run the train like in the book so make sure your kids don't ask to go on top of the train (movie) to see the man that makes the fire as my daughter did. LOL!

While on the train they give you cookies and hot chocolate. There are also like 12 Christmas songs they make everyone sing. Every parent looks retarded singing and so did I! It's for the kids so you have to do it.

The train car you go into is over 80 years old and still functioning. I was more impressed with the history that the story. The hotel wasn't that bad, but the buffet sure isn't a Vegas buffet! LOL...My family is spoiled living in Vegas. We tipped the waitress $10 and she acted like it was Christmas already. I explained that we were from Vegas and most people here live on tips so we are use to giving decent tips. Our dinner buffet bill was like $33.00 for 2 adults and 2 children.

And,,Greasy...No gay porn, but lots of eye candy to be seen! My wife slapped me a few times. LOL!
