lol, Bench. If it makes you feel better, we do the picking behind closed doors- it's pretty painless. One minute there's a list of signups, next minute there's 2 teams, and everybody's happy...

well no slight to the euros... but...
before 7:00pm EST on weekends is time controlled by the petticoat government, as my grandfather called it. The Wife and Daughter control that time...
else, I'd try and make it. the one time I jumped into a middle of the afternoon fray was for Pirates, its was summer and like 80 degrees and sunny out... They were both calling to me from the back yard, asking when I was coming outside. less likely that happens now, instead they'll be sitting in the same room as me asking me to play "Go Fish" or put a puzzle together.

Sorry guys, i tried to rally up some of the E1st but no go. There's alot of other stuff going on. I think you would get better turn out if you bumbed the time.

If we can't get the "euros", I would agree that changing the time would get more people - a lot of us get grief for the middle of the day games, no matter what the season. Monday is a holiday, so that isn't helping either.
