My dear friend, I'm so sorry that you lost your friend and brother so suddenly. I'm still dealing with the death of my Mom just a couple months ago, and it still tricks me to see how much and how entirely it effects everything, even though I am at peace with it and don';t think about it a lot. Everything is different...
We will never stop missing the ones we love. That's the part that hurts and keeps hurting. SOmething good I got out of it...by missing them and wanting to see them again, we will be inspired to do what is needed in order to be together again...what a short time we have here, compared to eternity! Like W6 said.
Or, as a Prophet-King wrote thousands of years ago:
"As for Man, his days are as the grass; as a flower of the field, so shall he blossom forth. For when the wind is passed over it, then it shall be gone, and no longer shall it know the place thereof. But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity, even unto eternity upon them that fear Him." Ps. 102
Quite a promise...especially if you take the meaning of "fear" in the way the ancient Fathers understood it: not fearing of an angry god, but fearing our own power to reject and turn away from Him: Love, Truth, Peace, and all good things.

I enjoyed all the great times of the past. I just got back to the site after a long time and just read your post. I am very sorry for your loss. I consider the time here very real and all who play as well. It is very obvious after reading all the nice responses. Hang in there buddy and know that you have support here from us!
