Friday night, the 6th of March

A big round of applause to all that showed up last night. There were some really well played maps and some intense battles at "key" flags. Damn, seeing (well I actually never saw him) Dirty Berd using the AMR brought back some kick ass memories of the days of old. If anyone has any highlights feel free to post them or do as JB4 said, NOMINATE THEM FOR RIBBONS!!!.

Thanks to all my squad mates: Rockford, Zippy, Counter, Bear, Meistro, Squinty, Vectorline, gnpostal and whoever else i forgot. Why did I forget?? Oh i dont know...CAUSE I FRIGGIN SLd for 6 hours last night. Give me a damn break.

    Cheers

Good times. Kudos to some of the new faces that were SLing and worked with me as CO. Need more people stepping up to command though. I kept commanding and the other team never had anyone - I am sure the organization had something to do with why my team kept winning. Remember you don't have to sit in the ucb bored and spot the entire time anymore.

Yeah, that was alot of fun, especially when we stood up to the challenge against "overwhelming odds", at North cabin. Good stuff

    I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DIDN'T MENTION ME! Oh...right. Sorry.

*Gives Testy a break, after all, he SL'd for 6 freakin' hours*

Sorry to miss Fallen, but I knew I had to spend time with the wife. It was worth it, though.

Great rounds last night for sure. North Cabin on Fallen - Epic. Towards the end of the night we definitley needed a commander on Snake Eyes. Bear did a great job as our SL for the UKR, but it became clear the team was at a disadvantage and we wound up capped out. And man Mantis, you kept getting me at every flag that I turned neutral.

But, I think Hitest was refering to this...

I heard some knives, katanas, tubes, and paddles showed up at that cabin. Some kinky stuff must have been going on.

Hello from one of the "new" guys, well more like "old/New Guys", I was part of the about 6 or so new faces Friday evening. Several of us played POE2 years ago and have drifted around from vanilla BF2, 2142, back to 1942 and all the mods in between.

Since the announcment of the crap sandwitch 1943 and no BF3 news.....wait.....are we allowed to say BF3 here? (looks around for the SS ready to run) We have been exploring past BF options and will probably be around in POE 2 for a little while anyway. We are all over 30 and just focus on 3 things, Have fun, kill more than you die *unless the situation dictates dying repeated deaths for the good of the team* and of coarse above all else WIN THE MAP!

We plan on being back friday evening....

    Awesome, welcome.

Make a date for Tuesday and Friday evenings, those are our POE2 game nights.
Tuesday saw almost 45 people on and Fridays is usually even better.

Re: Friday night, the 6th of March

I saw the Tuesday and Friday post and forwarded it along to the gang.

4 of us played POE 2 back when it first came out and everyone was calling shenanigans that it came out so fast and so polished are trying to nurse along the another 4 guys that we told to download the mod. They struggled a bit last Friday night, they will be fine though, we may bring in a few more depending who downloaded it this week?

Contrary to Patick Liu we go where the numbers are, you know the old saying "the more....the merr....well the more carnage".

We got to get a bit used to the server settings as well,...I kept forgetting to join a squad and got kicked a few times..ha ha. Idiot..

Just wanted to jump in here and say I will be back this Friday night and will do my best to bring the rest of squad I had from last Friday and possibly a few more.
It was great getting back into PoE.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for a full server.
