    POE2 Menu Music

    So, I was watching Pearl Harbor the other day for the first time.

    Now, in this thread: http://www.pointofexistence.com/foru...opic=8939&st=0

    Busy claims to be the composer of the main menu music. However, I think you will find the soundtrack of Pearl Harbor familiar between 4:46 and 5:33 on this clip: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0NTXN3Wkro[/media]

    So... Busy = Hans Zimmer? Or am I missing something here? I don't really care other than that I am just curious where the music actually originated from.

    Mehdi "BUSY" MOSTEFAI is a French Short film and soundtrack composer. Some of the sound tracks are from POE1 composed by Shableep, the rest are by Busy. Most of Busy's work is original, but some pieces (like the title soundtrack you mentioned) are reworks, (with permission of course), busy does this for a living and has some of his own material in other films.

    I just heard the POE2 Menu Music in Pearl Harbor and was interested in knowing what was up, because I really like the music and I was surprised to hear it while I was watching the movie. I guess I mistakenly believed that the POE2 stuff was original composition, so it caught me off guard.

    Hi,

    As stated above and to conclude this tread...

    17 tracks have been made for POE 2 by myself with my own hands, violons by violons ...
    3 of these tracks are reworked which does not mean "remixed"

    I'm a real Hans Zimmer fan as well as Harry Gregson William.
    I took 3 or my fav' tracks composed by them and I re-composed everything in my own studio... they used a Full Orchestra, I used computers and keyboard...

    It took me almost 3 weeks to make the main theme as I reworked everything...
    The Main theme is from Pearl Harbor, I added numerous things such as Ethnical Instruments and Electric Guitars and this was stated in our forum as soon as theme was available in order to avoid problems...
    BETA Installer Theme is from Man on Fire, Trailer Theme is coming from Crimson Tide
    I fully reworked and recomposed it addind my personnal touch...such as Ethnic instrument, ELectric Guitars,...

    The rest of the soundtrack is full original work and if you like it you can still listen to it on last dot fm

    Now if you liked the Main Theme as myself because it's one of my fav Hans Zimmer song This HZ theme cannot be found in any CD albums as it was not on any Soundtrack
    That's why I decided to make the song by myself and give people (HZ fans) the song they could not listen anywhere else .... of course adding some of my personnal touch ...

    hey Busy...i looked in the mod files and found the music then changed them to mp3s and i listen to them on my ipod...i wonder if i am the only one that did that.

    Yes a lot of people have done the same but you can download the music somewhere else in the internet but sadly I cannot post link right now as I'm restricted by the forum's rules ...
