Re: Tgif

It sure would be nice to see a little Operation Acorn 32p tonight... Havent seen that map in i dont know how long. I can use one of those intense firefights battling for control over the "Forest Flag". "The Hill"....

Re: Tgif
I'm in; let's bust out woodlands once we can get 32, and can we try frost village again? Maybe early before a lot of people without the mappack come in?
Would also love to see Nuke tonight--as long as we don't get too elite! Let it be a good intro, and not go all out before people even understand what's going on? If we can introduce more diversity, I think people will be more interested...
I would like to encourage all us regulars, once again, to lead a few times and invite some new faces, especially ones that had a good teamwork score from the previous round. If we pound people into the ground, and don't ease off a little and help them out, let's not expect this mod to keep afloat. We need new devotees, and that is only going to happen if we do some sacrifice bunts by not playing at the top of our game 100% of the time. I know some of you hate that philosophy, but we can maintain a strict adherence to our personal preferences, or take the long-term approach and just get people to love playing here. Remember the first time you played here, and why you stayed, and try to repeat the experience.
If you've ever played checkers with a little kid, you know what I'm talking about. Beat the pants of 'em and they soon won't want to play with you. Let them jump you a few times, get a king or two, and help them learn to love the tactical approach.
If pubs are TRYING to go tactical, and we wipe the floor with them anyway, due to superior skill and experience, they get the message that it makes no difference, they may as well go sniper or head to another server where there's a level playing field of bunny-hopping rambos.
Reward attempts at strategery, even clumsy ones, with some kind of positive reinforcement. When I'm trying my best and my team is trying to work together, and we still can't get anywhere, that's when I quit for the night. We shouldn't expect anyone to want to stick around for repeated utter domination.
Let's see plenty of double and single-digit ticket differences tonight!

Re: Tgif
I enjoyed being in your squad khaerus even when we lost, you made me feel we did everything we could. And we did.
My favourite round tonight was h2h, fighting mantis and Raunchy in the shilka and sam, i was afraid sometimes thagoat is going to throw up on the windshield
This time there was a good balance of infantry and flying maps, more frontline please on low player count, those were really exciting.

Re: Tgif
No doubt, great games last night and a superb map rotation. Well done ADMINS!!
Highlights: Fallen - " The Lockdown at the Cabin", Crimea - "The Assault on Religion (Church Flag), Rolling Thunder - "Bears' T-84 (dude tore it up), and of course, how could one forget the total ass whooping we took on Spies Like Us!!! I'll call that one "Fix Bayonetts".
If your team doesnt have a CO on that map then the best you could do is just CHARGE!!!!!
Keep an eye out for a newer guy named Killer0100. Great team player with loads of skill. I chatted with him a few times and invited him to check out our forums, I hope he does.
Well done folks!!!

Re: Tgif
Ummmm Oplot! Fallen was great, we rocked Hi Test's cabin real good. I put my kids to bed in record time to make that one. lol Rolling thunder was intense as well, when the 3dgn boys came in it got ugly at lumberyard. Big ups to Zippy for SLing on that one. I don't even want to talk about Spies, except to say i did manage to kill Mantis a couple of times, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.
Killer0100, Stand out player......especially when he was on our team!
Good Times
