Huh. I even tried setting a widescreen res, it just blinks black after the EA logo and dies. I'll try reinstalling POE, and if that doesn't work, reinstall BF2 then POE : (

Before you go all-out on reloading, try deleting your My Documents/BF2 folder and relaunching.

Good idea, but didn't help. Starting over but hopefully I'll be ready for Friday Night Fights. If not, I'm playing vanilla : )

Ah, think I got it - I had to do the registry thing so it would let me install the 1.50 patch - it was saying I already had a newer version so I installed POE on top of 1.4.
If it works, there better be some people on, if I can figure out which end of the gun to use.

Protip - if you are running Win 7 64 bit Home Premium, and you're using XP SP3 compatibility mode, you may see horrible FPS. Don't know why. For me, I just run it as admin. Went from 20-30 FPS to 100 maxed.
While Compatibility mode may do wonders for some, for me, it made the game unplayable. Who knows.

Thanks, I may try running with it off. I don't remember the game being as weird visually as it was at times last night.

I'd play every night of the week if people were on the server. I just reinstalled it and was playing 3v3 on Olesko Keep on POE clan server and even that was fun.

was just blasting artie with Krautman. now I'm racing my self in dingos, an trying to jump jeeps.

Yeah we seeded for a while last night until I got disconnected. I didn't bother to reconnect because it seemed no one was coming
