Huh. I even tried setting a widescreen res, it just blinks black after the EA logo and dies. I'll try reinstalling POE, and if that doesn't work, reinstall BF2 then POE : (
Ah, think I got it - I had to do the registry thing so it would let me install the 1.50 patch - it was saying I already had a newer version so I installed POE on top of 1.4.
If it works, there better be some people on, if I can figure out which end of the gun to use.
Protip - if you are running Win 7 64 bit Home Premium, and you're using XP SP3 compatibility mode, you may see horrible FPS. Don't know why. For me, I just run it as admin. Went from 20-30 FPS to 100 maxed.
While Compatibility mode may do wonders for some, for me, it made the game unplayable. Who knows.
I'd play every night of the week if people were on the server. I just reinstalled it and was playing 3v3 on Olesko Keep on POE clan server and even that was fun.

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
