Re: Point of Existence Updates
Another update. It looks like PoE:2 Beta 1.0 may be here fairly soon.

Re: Point of Existence Updates
Great news Strag. I am especially looking forward to winter/snow maps. Reminds me FH battlegrounds at Eastern Front.

They are taking this seriously, even getting with the guys at bf2cc to work on an admin tool.

Re: Point of Existence Updates
It looks like it'll be bigger than PoE:1, which itself was considerable.

Re: Point of Existence Updates
Looks like the days of bf2vanilla are about to bite the dust. With TacMod, FH2, POE2, and BF2142 I think we have seen the last of vanilla on server #1 except on a throwback night
.

I dunno about that. 2142 is only 2 months away

It might be cool, but there's still reason to question whether 2142 will actually be fun to play (BF:V). I have much greater confidence that PoE2 will be fun to play.

Re: Point of Existence Updates
I'm strictly comparing PoE:2 to PoE:1; PoE:2 appears to have much more in terms of actual content than did PoE:1.

Re: Point of Existence Updates
Im in the same boat as you strag. 2142 does have some awesome features but i have been waiting for some great mods to the already great BF2. I think POE2 and a couple others will really be awesome to play and see what we can get done. Might even get me to replay BF2
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Yep, PoE and others (FH, BattleGroup Frontlines, ...)
