POE2 AT kit
From the POE2 manual:
I hope this puts to rest the line of thinking that just because a kit is labelled anti-tank in a game, that somehow they aren't allowed to kill infantry. The Bunkerfaust 3 anti personnel round is the pure AP round. This kit’s only goal is to take out soft targets like jeeps and infantry. A well placed round in a window of a building is a great way to clear the room before your team moves in to secure the flag.-33rd- BaneII

Re: POE2 AT kit
yeah this looks great. I can't wait to clear a room with a rocket from outside.

Re: POE2 AT kit
I was talking about the label of the kit where people describe anti-tank as a non-infantry killer. If you want to refer to the labelling of the weapon, then here is the description for the RPG from the anti-tank kit. Good for all purpose killing. The RPG-7V anti tank round for the standard AT kit is an all-purpose round. It's effective against armor as well as soft targets and infantry.
So there should be no moaning about getting hit by an RPG.

Well, as long as it's not the RPG-7v Tandem or Panzerfaust-3T.

Re: POE2 AT kit
I've never heard anyone say that other than in the context where they complain that they can't kill people with the MP-5. The AT class is a perfectly effective infantry killer if you know how to use it properly. If you use it improperly, then your team gets abused by armor while you lie staring at the sky.
If you are actually talking about the use of AT rounds against infantry, then that is a different discussion. I don't think that the introduction of "a pure AP round" changes anything about that discussion.Peace through fear... since 1947!

Re: POE2 AT kit
lol, one thing I noticed with the AT kit tonight is once you lay the mines down, you will need to have an engine to take it out.

Re: POE2 AT kit
I noticed that the SMG or what have you seems to default to single shot. Is this a bug, or is it supposed to be this way?

Re: POE2 AT kit
The MP7 is an awesome weapon, I liked using it in regular vanilla, glad I can use it again in POE2.

Re: POE2 AT kit
Since I haven't had a chance to play, and I'm curious, do all the AP rounds act the same or is the thermobaric one different? I would assume if the thermobaric one is done realistically there's a bit of a delay between the initial explosion (to form the "cloud of death") and then the ignition of the cloud itself.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and able to provide an answer??|TG-1stMIP|Coridon

Re: POE2 AT kit
I haven't found a pickup kit yet. So I don't know how any of the specialized AT kits work.

Re: POE2 AT kit
I was killed by one and it just explodes when it hits. Someone fired it into the bunker I was in and I died immediately.

Re: POE2 AT kit
Yeah, everyone was using it over and over on infantry. Quite annoying. I did get to mess around with the pickup kits, they are pretty sick.

Re: POE2 AT kit
I found the support pick-up kit, but not the AT. I did have the pleasure of being on the receiving end, though. It seemed like it was about as powerful as a TOW.
