I must say as Medic being my favorite kit, that smoke grenade is invaluable. I don't miss the grenade at all.

Re: Thoughts on PoE:2
What is that damn beeping anyway?

The time for calm and rational discussion has passed. Now is the time for senseless bickering.

Re: Thoughts on PoE:2
its fun, the maps are awesome, but is it just me or are they mostly 5 flags 2 ucbs? Not that this is bad, its actually a good layout, but some variety is nice. The flak guns are efective but when the pilots learn where they are, its ridiculous easy to blow it up.
I dont know, some rounds were good (like that forest map) but others felt like i was dying the second i spawned from some random tank/apc/sniper. Eh, maybe i need some more time with it.

Re: Thoughts on PoE:2
Yea the beep gets to me too. I like the 5 flag approach though as it's not too many, not too few and only having 1 ucb is unfair. 2 UCB's work well IMO. The cover is pretty good on a lot of maps with quite a bit of space between flags leading to some in between flag battles which are fun.
I can't seem to play the Guardian map at all. Tried 3 times but crash to desktop at the Join button. Spec Ops and Medic are my new favorite kits as the Spec Ops guy covers an unreal amount of distance. Medic, so I can heal myself of course. I have some adjusting to do on the weapons though.

I'm lovin this! Feels a lot more like Desert Combat than BF2 did imo.
Are there many infantry maps? So far, i've only played armor oriented ones.|TG-33rd|Calvin

I find that I can hit targets more easily than in BF2.
Support's my new favorite kit, and I can snipe with it!

Re: Thoughts on PoE:2
I find that I can't hit anything really. The guns are going to take some getting used to, as their seems to be even more recoil than there was in BF2 for most of them.

Re: Thoughts on PoE:2
Fallen (the map with all the trees, somewhat similiar to Inishail) is an incredible map and i think once people get used to it, itll be much less deathmatchy and youll see people be smarter about it. You absolutly have to use the boulders and the artillery holes as cover. You will die if you attempt to stay in the grass and around the trees. Its just too easy to shoot ya there. I have had immense success staying in the artillery holes and just picking people off. Also, theres TONS of cover immediatly around most of the CPs and the stationary machine guns are very powerful and accurate. Use them, and never stop firing.

I really can only stand it when there are TGers on. A lot of pubbies dont care and and call you out/curse you out/random pubness...sorry for venting its just gettin to me. Someone just told me how much i suck flying. I just cant stand stuff like that. I know, tell admins when it happens, try to teach them...but a lot of them just dont care. I really hope TG implements a pw night.

Has anyone found a pickup AA kit yet?
QUOTE]
Yes and it's pretty weak. 3 hits on a chopper and he just turned around and went back to heal. You pretty much have to shoot at something that's half dead to kill it because by the time you reload they're gone.
