Re: In-depth thoughts on PoE2 game mechanics
Arty = <3. In a full squad defending a CP it's crazy awesome. Ask Santa on Highway to hell last night

Re: In-depth thoughts on PoE2 game mechanics
That was freaking sweet man. We were defending the outpost CP, which basically has one major road going in. Kilrogg got the shots to line up on the entrance to the CP, and musta killed 4 or 5 armor pieces when they came in. It was very cool communicating to him from ~800 meters away to kill a armor piece near us.

Re: In-depth thoughts on PoE2 game mechanics
I was playing on the Fallen map and when i was lucky to get behind enemy squads i tried knifeing them, but noticed it took more than one stab.
At least one vic was a medic without body armor.
Does anyone have experence with such things?
Does two stabs do the trick?(PO3) Marcinko_R. (BF2 PR .509) Squad Member

One is all it takes. The BF2 hit detection system is the proverbial "gorilla in the mist".

Re: In-depth thoughts on PoE2 game mechanics
Just like for bullets, it depends on where you hit them. If you come up behind them while they are prone, you will most likely be hitting the leg, which will take two hits (same for the arm). Hit the torso or head for a one hit kill. You should always left-click multiple times anyway just to be sure you killed them.
