Re: Introduce Yourself!
Hello Tactical Gamer Community,
More specifically the “Battlefield 2” community on this website who flock here. Since this is an introduction I guess the best place to start is that for many years I have been part of a gaming community and playing games. For the last two to three years I’ve been playing and competing in amateur & Semi-Pro tournaments on the Play Station 3 for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In this game I currently hold a 2.18 kill/Death ratio, meaning for every death I’ve averaged 2.18 kills. It’s my understanding that once you get to a 3.00 you would be considered pro. In my experience I usually die from teammates failings to cover or being oblivious to the surroundings and since I am usually in the thick of things I die. However, I have found that mature gamers that use their minds can make an experience even in losing that much more fun because it was a battle of wits and not random luck.
I have also been into Battlefield to where I have about 33 hours under my belt I believe and have the rank of Sergeant. I have a k/d ratio of about 2.20 on that game and like I said it’s the team member I have come in contact that usually get me killed, or have me trying to fight off hordes to revive a comrade.
So with that I would also like to add that MrShawn305 had recommended this community to me and I look forward to some POE tonight.

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Welcome to TG Pustka.
You'll find we don't worry too much about K/D in the the Battlefield mods here. You might be given orders or be in a support role that doesn't make your K/D look that great but allows your team to pull out a win. For example a squadleader might hang back and give his squad a spawn point but not do much killing himself... Just have fun and find some teamwork! See you in poe.

Re: Introduce Yourself!
It's Slavic so it's Polish/Czech/Russian. In Russian it means cannon, like the artillerary peice. My family is from Czech Republic and we live in Texas with Lance Armstrong.

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Sorry but in russian cannon sounds exactly like pushka. It also can mean any gun (slang). Where is no russian words sound like pustka, where is word pusto- meaning empty and some words made of this word -pustoj, pustota, pustovat', etc.
Sorry for off top guys

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Come on, Mercenarie
Pustka said <In Russian it means cannon>. He didn't mean it's russian word. Most probably it's czech word.
Anyhow we communicate to each other using english, and let it be so. In game we're just soldiers - red and blue guys
