Been a round for a few weeks. Love the Password nights. Figure I would officially post in the official introduction thread. TG is the way to enjoy this mod. Good times with all the regulars and TG members. Thanx and keep up the good work guys.

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Welcome Llama! If you used to play BF2 vanilla then I am sure you have read the server rules and SOP's. It is probably worth brushing up on anyway. There are a ton of links to them in thins thread.
Hope to see ya in game

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Hey TG! I have been playing on your guy's PoE:2 server on and off since release. I have to say that it has been great fun, and I ran a squad with a couple of TG guys today and it was spectacular! I just may have to join the teamspeak once and a while. Again, thanks for the games, and hopefully see you on the battlefield!

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Hi all ,
my real name is Youri , 35 years young of age , father of a 2 year and 6 months old little girl and husby of a good wife ( especialy since she allowed me to become a supporting member here ;DDD). Short live story untill now ; I was born in Belgium and still live in Belgium. At school i learned the proffesion of a welder ( i think that is the word in english , welding stuff ) , after dooing that for like 2 years and realy got bored with it i went to the military. I joind the Belgian paracommando forces and stayd there for a bit longer then 8 years. It was not with joy that i quited that job but i got unlucky with a exercice jump above Kongo Brazzaville. The damm tree dint wanted to move and the wind drived me straight in to that nice big African tree.Wich ended up in a aggresive hug between the tree and me and gived me a extra free fall from the top of the tree to the bottom ;D But i cant complain to much because my back is injured but in normal live a function like every normal person.I just am not allowed to do the heavy geared military jumps annymore so that ment the end of my beloved proffesion. After that i started to work for a private security firm and thats wath i still doo today.Atm i am on a 3 year payed break to raise our little girl.In april the 3 years will be over and i start to work again. My little girl goes to school then so it would make no sence to stay home longer then. But atm we stil enjoy our quality time together by making little fires in the garden , dooing forrest walks and pulling of tricks for fun at the neighbourhood ;DD The reason i started to play BF2 was to find something back that would remind me a bit of my military carier that i still mis every day. I got very dissapointed at start , not the game itself but the teamplay that i dint seem to find.Untill ..... i tried out your server.Of my , oh my . My first n8 alrdy i got lucky to get in a TG squad and i was very impressed by the way ppl acted there. They where all very friendly to me , even when i am still in the noob proces wath games concerns and skill.I do know a bit about RL military tactiks offc and i can say that i have seen that squad ( Beatnik & Co) deploy a top defensive perimeter that was realy wel done.Commands came over very naturaly and smooth , short and very to the point. Knowing myself and my playstyle , it did not take long for me to figure out that this is the gameplace where i belong.Teamplay , helping and understanding this great quote of H.T. => ***"It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit."*** made me to become a supporting member of this nice community. So , that was it ;D Thank you for reading and i hope i did not bored you to much lol. Greetz FWO Last edited by ForwardObserver; 09-26-2006 at 11:45 AM. |
