Force a team switch
Can we config the POE2 server to force a team switch at the end of every round? I just spent the last two nights playing nothing but UKR without being able to switch to GER - I would like to use the GER weapons once in a while.

Re: Force a team switch
It's always been that way. To switch, just look for the opportune time and make the hop. It's funny, I always somehow played MEC on the Vanilla server but never did it intentionally.

Re: Force a team switch
It is possible, and we have talked about it before, however it does break up squads when teams are switched. That's the huge downfall to it all.

If you get in before the game begins, you can switch at will, correct?

Re: Force a team switch
You can switch, if the other team has one less person. If its balanced, then it usually won't let you switch over.

Re: Force a team switch
the problem is when the server's full, you can't switch.

Re: Force a team switch
There is a ton of traffic through our server. People are constantly getting kicked, dropping, etc. So, one never has to wait too long for an opportunity to switch.

Re: Force a team switch
If you are really keen to switch teams and you can't make it happen, asking an admin nicely might get you there.

Re: Force a team switch
If you're on TS you can usually just ask someone over voice to swap teams with you between rounds.

Re: Force a team switch
Ehmm don't hit me for disclosing this, but if you REALLY want to switch, you can use the exploit, but don't exploit it as they do on ranked servers to go to the winning team.
This is how. EXACTLY when the tickets reach zero, you must be clicking to change team. So you start ckicking at e.g. 3 tickets left and keep doin it until it reaches zero.
Keep in mind that when the new round starts, someone else will be switched. That is why I don't do this unless i'm desperate. I guess Darkstar was desperate as well.
PS any admins feel free to delete this if this post is found unsuitable, it is sort of on the edge I guess. What it's like to play online games as a grown-up:http://s3.amazonaws.com/theoatmeal-i...e_gaming/1.jpg
