Question about PoE2..
Spec-wise, is it as or more intensive than vanilla? Because, I'm to the point that my laptop can barely play regular BF2. I've started back playing, but I see that everyone has moved on to this new mod. So, do u think that I have any chance of getting a good game out of PoE2?

Re: Question about PoE2..
My understand is that it requires a bit more resources than vanilla.

3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

Re: Question about PoE2..
I think it does to, it certainly takes longer to load the maps than vanilla.

Re: Question about PoE2..
Its a bit more intensive, at least for me. Generally as soon as i spawn in on a map i just loaded, i lockup for 30 seconds before i can do anything. Then for the next 2-3 minutes i lock up now and then for seconds at a time. The rest of the round is pretty smooth though.

Re: Question about PoE2..
It does, but not as much. And while RAM may be my friend, money is not.

Re: Question about PoE2..
Yea, actually my rig does run out of RAM and do the HD swap dance. This never happened in vanilla. It only happens after I've already played at least 2 maps though. It's not bad and usually goes away after about 30 seconds. Still, makes me wonder if there is a memory leak somewhere.

Re: Question about PoE2..
I have no idea what frequency i have. My brother is all into that kind of stuff and said that if i added a third stick, it would mess up the other 2 sticks in some way. Everything he said kind of went completely over my head. Im *hopefully* getting a new computer come december/january though.

Re: Question about PoE2..
My computer runs it approximately as well as BF2. I could have sworn load times were a little shorter but I really don't collect hard data o nthis kind of thing.
