I have to say that the VEPR is not always superior to the G36. If you're right up in somebody's face then yes if you both start shooting at the same time, the guy with the VEPR is going to win. The G36 is a better gun at distance, however- it's more accurate and has a longer range. It also has a better scope.

if you want to get right up to somebody playing as Germany, take the M4 Shotgun and watch how long the VEPR toting guys last.

That depends on if I'm the guy with the VEPR or not.

I will agree with your assesment of the G36. At first I thought it was not in the same league as the VEPR. HOwever, its optics are a little different and once I adjusted to using it, I stopped running around trying to steal a VEPR kit. It's a very powerful weapon, I just feel the VEPR at medium and short ranges is easier to aim.

Confirms what I thought about the VEPR being far superior to the assault gun on the german side. Also the Ukraine side seems to get a much better sniper rifle as well.
