Kicking non-SMs for SMs?
Did this stop working or never work? Right now the server is full and I keep getting dropped back to the server list screen saying the server is full.

No he's right. The server was at 64/64 for a few minutes there because I could not get on as well. After a minute it went down to 63/64 and I could then join the server. I thought it's always supposed to be at 62/64.

Re: Kicking non-SMs for SMs?
SM kick was probably working at full steam and couldn't keep up. People have to fully load before they are kicked, so, while they are loading they are taking up a spot. If enough people are joining at one time, it's possible for the server to hit 64 for a few brief moments.

When an SM joins the server it goes to 63/64. Once that person's done loading and verifying-data, the server boot's someone, and it returns to 62/64.
yeah - what perry said. If two SM's take 5 minutes to load and verify a map, it'll be locked at 64/64 for 5 minutes.

Re: Kicking non-SMs for SMs?
Just a heads up for anyone thats interested.
I was kicked tonight:
Basically the message was a punkbuster message that said I was kicked to make room for a supporting member.
I'm not complaining about being kicked for a supporting member but I had been connected for maybe a minute. I was under the impression that kicks to make room were the non SM's who had been on the longest.
Has a change been made?Meister

I will investigate this.

3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

I observed this happening after the new scripts we installed last night. I've rolled back the scripts and they will be in effect after a server restart.
