armour on or off??
Ok I just recently started learning that in binary (spelling?) code that the 1's and 0's indicate "on" or "off". Well the other day I was SL and in the opening load screen where it tells you if friendly fire is on or if there is armour present I noticed that the "friendly fire" had a "1" next to it which I took to mean that the friendly fire was "on". A little ways down the screen the was a "vehicle" heading and it had a "0" next to it which I took to mean that there wasn't any armour on the map. Well I told my guys not to spawn in AT since there wasn't a need. Sure as heck we all spawned in to a CP and there is armour all over the place. I looked like a complete ass......... so do all of the maps have armour? If not then which number indicates on and off? Thanks guys. I just want to avoid having a squad that's not as effective as it could be or not having the right kits.

Re: armour on or off??
None of the maps have been edited. Which means currently they come with what they were built to come with.
Long and short of it is you can expect armor unless the map says Orel or Fallen.

Re: armour on or off??
I think the setting on the loading screen is "No vehicles" -- 0 means that setting is off which means there is vehicles. 1 means that setting is one, which means vehicles have been removed. Don't even know if this setting works in POE2, and if it does, we've had no discussion of playing with it.
The only true infantry only map is Fallen. I think that Orel just has jeeps.Battlefield Admin(BF2 Rules) (BF2142 Rules)

Re: armour on or off??
Better to think of it as:
0=no
1=yes
So that would be:
Friendly fire = 1 = yes, it is on
No vehicles = 0 = no, it is off (no no vehicles = vehicles)-33rd- BaneII

Re: armour on or off??
Just so you know, it this case it is referring to the boolean values true and false, where 1 is the integer value of true, and 0 is the integer for false.
But that's not important...

Actually yes...
[/whatever] is BB code, and what I was talking about has nothing to do with HTML.
