Good to see you in the forums ForwardObserver and Monk. Forward I believe you were in my squad for a few maps last night. Great games.

FYI - here's another thread discussing the use of TG tags.

    See you on the battlefield.

Ah yes , i was in your squad ;-) Was allot of fun and i learned allot.I also learned that my head protests to get out of bed when i play untill 4 in the morning ;D

I readed the TAG post you linked and it was a nice post.
In short , i want the TAG infront of my name just so fellow players see that i stand for helping and beeing willing to play wathever class the squad needs for the job , even if that means playing a class that is not my favorit.
Its kind of a sign for me , i sign that says "teamplayer , willing, sacrifice, mature" player , all in that small little word |TG| ;-)

BTW , i think i submitted my BF2 profile correct in my user profile thingy , used that keyhash thing , putted my CD key in and then selected my |TG|ForwardObserver account. Then i putted the 8 numbers in the box from BF2 in user profile ;D

Greetz FWO and thx for the help guys

That's precisely why I put the tags on. I'd say that's an entirely appropriate reason to wear them.

    Re: Great Server

As always, love playing on the TG servers and I really enjoy the POE2 mod.

One complaint I do have though that I would like your input on. When joining in a game that is already in progress I try to join a squad that is almost full. What I have seen a lot of lately though is people creating one man squads and going off and doing their own things. What is the TG view on these squads? 99% of the rounds I play that have multiple one man squads are usually losses for our team. Although the squad I am in usually tries as hard as they can to defend or attack, the other teams seem to utilize their squads more effectively and royally kick our butts!

I know admins want to play instead of babysitting, but can they recommend to players to join existing squads and not their own one man armies?

    Thanks,
    BakinBitz (aka running target)

Yes this is a problem BakinBitz. Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done on this issue.

I suggested a system that only gave squad creation priveliges to certain people but that poses a lot of functional problems as well.

    Re: Great Server

    Hehe , it sure was a fun n8 last n8 ;D

Played almost all n8 as a squad medic and its getting better and better ( lucky for me no one seen i tried to revive a enemy corps at start ;D ) .
Played with allot of nice ppl again and helpfull ones as always.
I liked the sneak to the objective part allot , followed by the smoke command and then defending it. I finaly start to get used to that medic gun also , what is not the easyest weapon to use in my noob opinion ;D Most of the time i put it on 1 shot , especialy when we moved true forrests our open fields and had a long forward lof. Closer to town our cabin our wathever i switch back to auto to put down suprises that come around the corner ;D
So i think you will see me most of the time as a med , our a AT when needed ( our something else by SL orders offc).

Greetz FWO and thx for the fun again ;-)

ps; one little question , when u use a mic , does only the squad members hear you ?

If you are just a squad member then only the members of your squad can hear you. If you are a squad leader then you can talk to your squad or the commander.
