Played with allot of nice ppl again and helpfull ones as always.
I liked the sneak to the objective part allot , followed by the smoke command and then defending it. I finaly start to get used to that medic gun also , what is not the easyest weapon to use in my noob opinion ;D Most of the time i put it on 1 shot , especialy when we moved true forrests our open fields and had a long forward lof. Closer to town our cabin our wathever i switch back to auto to put down suprises that come around the corner ;D
So i think you will see me most of the time as a med , our a AT when needed ( our something else by SL orders offc).

Greetz FWO and thx for the fun again ;-)

ps; one little question , when u use a mic , does only the squad members hear you ?
If you are still learning the kits there is some great reading here that describes how to play them. Check it out. Thierry wrote most of them and they are great guides.

Re: Great Server

I just readed the class/kit guide , great guide!
Learnd a few important things in it , for example the AT lock sound , i did not realize that if you are close enouf to shoot at the tank without the zoom thing , that it also means that the tankdriver dont hear the locking sound !

Wel annyway , thx for the link , it wil make me better out there ;-)

Re: Great Server

On the POE2 mod the AT kits are different than normal BF2 so the AT missle does not give a warning to the tank driver. So you can keep him painted until you are ready to fire and the only way he knows a AT person is around is being seeing them or getting hit.

Also in POE2 the tanks have somewhat more realistic damage spots mainly being the rear of the tank and the tracks are the weakest part of it. Don't be suprised that you can fire five rockets at the front of a tank and he is still coming.

Re: Great Server

Hehe , i dont like to engage a tank face to face , except if i get suprised and facing a certain death annyway , only then i try to atleast hit it ones before i face the ground ;D

Shot a missile ones on top of a tank from a hill (in POE2) and it went down very fast.Dunno if thats also tweakt to make it more realistic our maybe it was already damaged from someone else ;-)

Thx for the info !

Greetz FWO

ps; bussy tuning that VOIP thing atm ;-)

D'oh! Thanks Sawviper I forgot ot mention that the guides are for vanilla. Some of the tactic stay the same but some do change. Now who wants to take on the guides for Tac-mod and POE2?
