Pickup kit maps
Here are the 64-player versions of the pickup kit maps I made. They are generated automatically from the game files. The way it is done, the labels are moved slightly to keep them readable in cases where pickups fall close to each other. I can assure you that the pickups are close to the label.
S = Anti-material rifle
LS = DSR-1 or VSS 'sniper' rifles
AA = Anti-air
AT = Anti-tank
MG = Machine Gun
Sorry, I left the Katana off so that these maps don't ruin the fun.

No, I won't be posting them anywhere else. They will come here to get them once they find out about them.

I knew there had to be a better way of doing this than running around the maps with a camera, like an obsessed tourist! Great work, sir! +rep

Updated.
S2 = The special sniper pickup found only on this map
As far as I know, it is the normal kit you can select on other maps.Last edited by icky; 10-17-2006 at 01:23 PM.

Re: Pickup kit maps
You know what weapon they should have added into PoE2? A baseball bat. I mean, who needs a grenade launcher when you could just hit incoming grenades back to their rightful owners?

Re: Pickup kit maps
There are a bunch of Sniper Rifles on the "Spies like us" map. 1 near the nuke flag crates and 1 on top of a bunker roof on the west flag of the UKR UCB.

Re: Pickup kit maps
I would definitely not call them "useless" in the least well at least the Ukraine sniper, the German is ALWAYS useless lol
. I've gone 55 and 8 on that map with the Ukraine It's normally all I use when I play it and I rarely get anything worse then a 4:1 ratio with it

Re: Pickup kit maps
Some ppl are good with sniper rifles and feel the deviation better. On the infantry maps, the fog is enough to make all weapons equal though. 60+ kills and single digit deaths are not all the uncommon with the VEPR or MG36 for me on those maps, but I would be completely useless with the sniper rifles. I think you'll see most ppl excel with those weapons. The exceptions being Mantis and the G36 and Robocop with the shotty. I don't get how they do that, especially Robocop with 50 shotty kills. That makes no sense.
