    Post VEPR or G-36

Us assualt types are having are usual discussion over beer about which is the better assault rifle. To me hands down, the VEPR! Now is it just me or is there actuall science behind this? You guys with the knowledge of the inner workings of the game, please respond. Because there is something different going on. If i could figure out how to make this a vote I would

    Re: VEPR or G-36

IIRC, G36 is slightly more accurate and the VEPR is more powerful (40 vs 35 damage per shot).

The difference in accuracy is negligible unless at extreme distances - and even then it's not that significant. VEPR >>>> G36.

As for medic rifles, I'd take the G36K over the AKS-74 since the sights on the AK suck.

Been playing alot of Assualt recently because of all the ammo you get. And I prefer the VEPR. This is just perception but it seems like VEPR has less recoil. Which makes for more headshots. At night the black cross-hairs on G36 can be hard to see. Also, VEPR sounds more powerful not that it counts any.
I actually prefer all ukraine weapons over german ones, just preference I guess. In general, I believe Ukraine weapons have harder sights to use, but the trade-off is that they are either more powerful, have less recoil, or shoot faster. I dont know if any of this is true.

I think the messages in the upper left hand corner answer this question for us. You see VEPR much more than G36.

VERP is just way more powerful, and the sights give you an awsome field of view.

VEPR seems to have a lot less recoil.

Vepr, just for the field of view that the scope gives you. I feel like i don't have tunnel vision when using the scope. When using the G-36, I don't have as good of situation awareness. Plus, headshots are easier with the Vepr. My .02.

Vepr for me. It uses a basic red dot sight, as opposed to the moderate-range scope on the G36. (The G36 has two scopes, the top is red dot while the bottom is the scope, why couldn't the devs give the Bundeswehr side the top sight?)

But...the MG36 with the Bundeswehr-standard scope bridge is great for sniping and counter-sniping.

Ive played probably 20ish rounds of POE2, and I can honestly say ive never been assault as a ukranian (im german 95% of the time). So the G-36 gets my vote

    Re: VEPR or G-36

The VEPR is still easier to target because there is less lines in the scope. However, after the patch all sights have reduced to a pixel so it helps with the G36. I think the power and accuracy are now equal in both guns, just personal preference with the sights now. I was using hte G36 on spies the other day and was outshooting many a VEPR user with the G36. Pre patch VEPR hands down. Post patch it is a personal preference. The G36 is an equal of the VEPR.

Vepr for me. I'd rather have that on Spies than the G36.
